Lonesome Road

Lonesome Road is Eastern Iowa's hottest new high-energy Country act comprised of four of Eastern Iowa's best musicians. Fronting the group is 2005 Nashville Star contestant Danny Whitson. Whitson's "Big Country" voice and stage presence keeps crowds coming back to rock with Lonesome Road. Danny has fronted former bands "Ramblin Fever" and "Crossover". Chad Chopard and Rob Carnahan both were formerly with mid-west sensational group, "Cheyenne". Chopard's Bass Guitar is big, smooth, and thunderous. Chad is a former member of "Charly Spoone" and "Everwonder". Rob Carnahan, or "Kaboom" as his band mates call him, is the backbone of Lonesome Road's rhythm section. Carnahan's former bands include; "Cheyenne" and "Mason Dixon" Lead Guitarist Jeff Mattison has been dubbed one of the best players in the mid-west. Mattison is a founding member of the band "Rio Grand" and "8 Seconds" Both Carnahan and Mattison toured with Jake McVey for two years in the group, "Unknown Highway".

Lonesome Road is a group of talented individuals that have one common goal; Play as a BAND, and give the audience everything you have every night. These four members have collectively opened and shared the stage with over 60 national acts including; Tim Mcgraw, Little Big Town, Brad Paisley, Craig Morgan, Dierks Bentley, Blake Shelton, Sawyer Brown, Tracy Byrd, Mark Chesnut, Martina McBride, and Lonestar, to name a few.
