Band History
Sorvara was formed in late 2009 and is based out of Cedar Rapids, Iowa. Founding members Austin Smith(Vocals) and Skea Breitbach (Guitar), began writing and picked up John Eiben (Drums) shortly thereafter. Sorvara began playing shows and building a fan base throughout Eastern Iowa which led up to recording a 3 song demo in September 2010. After recording the demo Sorvara added guitarist Kasey Hempstead and started booking shows throughout the midwest. Currently Sorvara is working on trying to book shows, continue to write and heading back to the studio to record with Kasey.
