Since moving from Iowa City to Fort Collins, Colo. in the summer of 2008, Euforquestra has toured coast to coast. The current tour is in support of
Euforquestra’s third studio release “Soup.”
Euforquestra describes their unique mix as Afro-Caribbean-Barnyard-Funk. Their progressive, genre-crossing funk fusions provide a rhythmic blend of sound, integrating Afrobeat, Reggae, Afro-Cuban, Samba, Soca, Salsa and Dub.
Euforquestra is responsible for Camp Euforia, the annual event billed as Iowa’s Premier Independent Music Festival, which take place in July on a farm just outside Lone Tree. The fest brings in talented and diverse performers from across the nation, with this year’s lineup including an appearance by Kyle Hollingsworth from String Cheese Incident.
