Join us in Cedar Rapids’ historic Irish District on June 23, 2012 from 1 to 9 pm for a day of live music, dance performances, art, food, games, and fun for the whole family. Bring your lawn chair, bring your cooler (no glass please), bring the kids – our low ticket price ($5 per person – and kids 12 and under accompanied by an adult get in free) means you can spend an hour or spend the day – whatever suits your schedule. Four dynamic bands will play on our giant circus tent-covered main stage (the show goes on rain or shine) – artists will exhibit and sell their work right on the grounds – marching bands and dance troupes will be strutting their stuff – local vendors will have great food for sale – we’ll have games for the kids (and the adults). Let’s get together and enjoy an early summer weekend in one of Cedar Rapids’ most unique and lively neighborhoods. The following bands are appearing: Surf Zombies from Cedar Rapids, Henhouse Prowlers from Chicago, Dennis McMurrin & Demolition Band from Cedar Rapids and Smooth Money Gesture from Colorado.
