Since their 2008 inception, Sleigh Bells have developed a cult following within the indie scene and have more recently begun to establish themselves as a household name with their SNL show and a headlining spot for the Red Hot Chili Peppers’ spring tour. No small feat for Derek Edward Miller, former member of hardcore band Poison the Well, and Alexis Krauss, of teen pop roots, who serendipitously met in 2008 at a Brazilian restaurant where Miller was waiting tables at the time.
