DESCRIPTION:The Iowa Arts Festival is a weekend-long\, free\, community cel
 ebration featuring over 125 local and national visual artists displaying an
 d selling their artwork\, a music festival\, a “Culinary Row” serving regio
 nal and ethnic food\, a variety of activities and entertainment\, both crea
 tive and educational\, for children and families. The Iowa Arts Festival is
  the most anticipated visual art-centered event of the summer.

 rts Festival kid's activities are educational and fun\, featuring puppets\,
  crafts\, music and dance. On Saturday\, kids can pick up a passport and to
 ur the Global Village traveling from country to country\, all in one day. F
 amilies can listen to great music and dance to tunes from all over the worl
 d. Children's Day on Sunday features over 18 booths of hands-on activities\
 , crafts and learning experiences presented by area businesses and groups.

 vendors with a global flavor. Roam about munching on some of the area's bes
