The Iowa City Downtown District is bringing a little food, art and crafts back to the heart of Downtown Iowa City with the return of the 2nd Saturday Market. The 2012 Market hours will be 8:00 a.m. to 12:00 p.m. and the Market will provide patrons a wide selection of fresh food, art and crafts. The initial 2nd Saturday Market will be held on June 9, 2012, with Markets to follow July 14, August 11, September 15th (not the 8th due to the Iowa v. ISU football game), and October 13.
