Description
This program for 3 to 9 year-olds encourages healthy choices through gardening. In each class, kids will participate in the growing, harvesting and cooking of garden fresh foods. This will provide an opportunity to learn about the selected vegetable(s) using sensory exploration and will also include garden-side tasting.

In the event of severe weather the class will be canceled and money will be funded. To alert you to a cancellation, you will be asked to provide your preferred phone number to call for cancellations when registering.
*All classes meet from 10-11:30 a.m. Cost is $10 per child/per session or sign-up for the entire summer for $90.

June 13: Swiss Chard
June 20: Spinach
June 27: Green Leaf Lettuce
July 4: Holiday; no class
July 11: Green Beans
July 18: Bell Pepper
July 25: Tomatoes/Basil
August 1: Cherry Tomatoes
August 8: Winter Squash
August 15: Summer Squash
August 22: Carrots
