American Legion Pocket City Post 267, and American Veterans’ Post 108 are proud to sponsor McGregor’s annual Memorial Day Parade. This year’s event will start at 1000 AM at the Middle School. A special ceremony will be held at the riverfront to honor those men and women that served in the Navy, Coast Guard, and Merchant Marines.
At the conclusion, participants will move to the Pleasant Grove cemetery. Selected students will recite Lincoln’s Gettysburg Address, and the Poem Flanders Field. Local Legion Post Adjutant Bob Eggen will present this year’s Citizenship awards.
