Pilobolus Dance Theatre takes the seemingly impossible and makes it startlingly possible. Combining bodies and ideas in ways no other ensemble can, Pilobolus delights and provokes audiences with movement both strange and beautiful. A Hancher favorite for decades—the company first visited Iowa City in 1975 and this will mark its eighth Hancher performance—Pilobolus will once again shatter our expectations in two intimate performances. The group's previous appearances have attracted audiences in thousands, but only 400 seats are available for this visit, making this one of the hottest tickets of our 40th anniversary season.
