The Visiting Nurse Association will be conducting a Cardiac Risk Assessment and Cholesterol Screening at the Iowa City Senior Center, 28 S. Linn St, Iowa City, on Wednesday,
July 18, from 8:30am-10:30am. The screening will be in the VNA Health Suite located on the lower level of the Center. A general risk assessment, blood pressure, and cholesterol screening will be available. A lipid profile with glucose (Total Cholesterol, HDL, LDL, Triglycerides, and Glucose) will be offered for $17.00. To obtain the most accurate results a 10-12 hour fast (no eating or drinking anything other than water) is recommended. This screening is open to the public, but appointments must be made.
