Description
Todd Weaver was a local man-a husband to his high school sweetheart Nicole, and a father to two young boys- who tragically passed away in a motorcycle accident on June 14, 2009. Nicknamed “V-Rod Todd”, he was an avid motorcycle enthusiast and the local biker community has come together each year to commemorate his life with a memorial ride. The purpose of the ride is to bring awareness to the subject of motorcycle safety and the dangers of drinking and riding. The proceeds of the event will go towards a college fund for Todd’s sons.
This year, the 100-mile ride will culminate in an outdoor concert, featuring national artists Bobaflex and Royal Bliss, along with local bands CUR, End of an Age, and Armored Angel. The event is BYOB and 21+ only. Just Jules will be on hand, grilling and selling food and sodas, along with various other vendors. After the concert, there will be free camping available at the site.
The ride is free. Meet for ride at 9 a.m., leave at 10:30 a.m. Gates open for concert at 5 p.m.
