Children who have experienced the death of a loved one are invited to KUL (Kids Understanding Loss, age 5-10) and ROLL (Respect Our Life Losses, age 11-15). A support group for parents and guardians is held simultaneously. These groups meet monthly on the second Tuesday from September-May.

All groups are provided free of charge. Pizza and drinks are served from 6:00-6:30 p.m. and groups run from 6:30-7:30 p.m.

Referrals can be made by anyone concerned about a grieving child. Grief support need not be connected to the death of an Iowa City Hospice patient.
