The Hiawatha Parks and Recreation Department, along with the Cedar Rapids Titans announced details for the first annual "Big top Balloon Drop" family New Year’s Eve Bash. The event will be held at the Eastern Iowa Sports Complex in Hiawatha.

The event is open to the public and admission is $5. Two years old and under are free. Those attending will get a free lunch, enjoy a balloon drop at noon, inflatables, carnival rides and games, prizes, face painting, photo booth, cupcake walk, party favors, etc.
