Cedar Rapids Parks & Recreation will present “Be Mine, Katie-tine,” a “Little Rascals” style adaptation of Shakespeare’s “Taming of the Shrew” by Gregga J. Johnn at Ushers Ferry. Enjoy this valentine story presented through the eyes of a lover, not a fighter. Eight year old Peter discovers that life, love and liberty are what you make of them as he tames the seven year old diva who lives down the street. This Victorian evening of storytelling will include dessert by the fire in the village hotel.

Advance registration is required for this program. Admission is $12 for residents and $13 for non-residents per evening. Register for program #314203-03 for the Friday performance and program #314203-04 for the Saturday performance.
