Two struggling writers hear about a new musical theatre festival. With the deadline a mere three weeks away, a cast at the ready, and nothing to lose, they begin with a conversation about what to write about. Eventually, they write about what to write about. In the span of 90 minutes they create and perform their show at the festival and in the process learn lessons about themselves as people, friends and artists. The musical received a Tony Award® nomination for Best Book of a Musical in 2009.
