Contest Rules

For a local business to enter the 2013 KCRG A-List powered by Hoopla it is required that you have a physical store storefront and provide services within an existing contest category. It is also required that the business operation is located with the KCRG-TV9 viewing area.

KCRG and Hoopla have the right to remove any business nominee that has erroneously entered the 2013 KCRG A-List powered by Hoopla or misused the provided marketing materials or contest name. Businesses are nominated in two ways: by a representative of the business or by administrators of the 2013 KCRG A-List powered by Hoopla. Winners are chosen by voters on the website and mobile site, but do not reflect or represent an endorsement by Cedar Rapids Television Company, SourceMedia Group, The Gazette Company or any of its affiliate companies.

Voters are allowed to vote once in each category. Voting will be allowed between 12 a.m. March 14, 2013 and 11:59 p.m. May 12, Central Standard Time.

The following may result in removal from the contest by a voter or business nominee: Using technology to manipulate results and creating voting accounts erroneously.
