It's a 'perfect fit' as on March 25, 2009 the Cedar Rapids Kernels and Perfect Game USA announced a five-year field naming rights partnership. The field at Veterans Memorial Stadium will be named the "Perfect Game Field at Veterans Memorial Stadium".

The current Veterans Memorial Stadium opened in April of 2002, and is the third facility that professional baseball in Cedar Rapids has called home. The stadium has seating for 5.300 fans, not including standing room only areas, and features 12 diamond suites and three picnic/group areas. A six story LED video scoreboard is the centerpiece of the stadium, and dominates the right-center field view. The 16 x 24 foot LED board provides live action, instant replays, player statistics and more.
