PS1 is a funky, DIY space concerned with providing the community a structure for expression in a multitude of genres and forms.

Our mission is to serve the Iowa City community by providing a venue for innovative, experimental art, culture, music, and thought. It is our hope that by exposing our community to work that can often slip through the cracks of a commercial world, we will facilitate engagement and understanding of each other, of our experiences and expression, and have fun while doing so.
