Tom and Ellie Osborn were both born in Belle Plaine, Iowa and moved to Marion in December 1968, when their oldest daughter, Teri, was 1 year old. Their second daughter, Nicole, was born in March, 1976. Tom and Ellie decided to take a big risk, and on January 8, 1986, they opened the Marion Maid-Rite. Teri lives in Marion with her husband Steve, daughter Chelsea and son, Payton. Teri is a Co-Owner and General Manager and oversees the normal day-to-day operations…giving it the true meaning of a family owned operated business. Nicole also lives in Marion with her husband Justin and son, Seven Thomas. She is a Co-Owner and works full-time as Manager.
