Heartstrings Description

A truly unforgettable, elegant string music experience for your wedding, Heartstrings is composed of two classically trained musicians, and sisters, Emma (violin) and Lucy (cello) Conroy. In the six years that Heartstrings has been playing, they have done over 100 weddings to the satisfaction of every bride & groom and guest in attendance. While only nineteen and seventeen years old, respectively, Emma and Lucy have between them, already received many honors in their careers as musicians, including being selected to play with the International Suzuki Association of the Americas Conference Orchestra, the Hearst Center for the Arts Young Artist Exposition, the Metropolitan Orchestra Festival, the Five Seasons Chamber Music Festival, as orchestra pit musicians at Theatre Cedar Rapids and Revival Theatre Company, and, in 2008, winning the Bill Riley Talent Competition at the Iowa State Fair. Additionally, they were chosen as the KCRG A-List winner for Best Music in 2013.
