The Raj opened its doors in April 1993 and soon gained a reputation as America's premier Ayurveda Health Center. It is the only such facility outside of India specifically built to offer traditional Ayurveda rejuvenation treatments. At the heart of The Raj programs are the profound treatments that help restore balance and reawaken the body’s natural healing mechanisms. We offer many types of treatment packages from day spas to all-inclusive in-residence treatment programs. Our Day Spa treatments include: the Abhyanga (synchronized oil massage performed by two technicians), the Shirodhara (stress-relieving relaxation treatment), the Antistress Massage (geared towards those who work in front of computers all day) and our 10-Step Royal Facial for ladies. We also offer an all you can eat, organic, vegetarian buffet available from 12pm to 2pm Sunday, Monday, Wednesday and Thursday. Our style of cuisine changes each day; on Sunday we serve chef's specials, Monday is Indian, Wednesday is Thai with sushi and Thursday is Indian. Don't forget to try our delicious Chai!
