One of the most beloved storefronts was Pohlenas Meat Market. It will never be duplicated. Thank God for Nelson's Meat Market. The best, in fact we could never grow up to be either. Their legacies are too amazing. We are a meat market (kinda) southern hot dishes,retail jellies, spices and a place to come get coffee , kick your feet up, read the paper and sit a spell. 6:30 a.m. you can get breakfast burritos and the like, TO-GO! Saturday Mornings come get hot baked french bread and honey butter, because at 9:00a.m. We have live music until noon.
